Now, let me introduce the rod I am designing for you guys, enjoying fly fishing over there. Drawing on my experience fishing 22 inch Rainbows in Idaho Henry's Fork, 72cm Browns in South NZ, and so on, I have put my best efforts into crafting a rod that is both powerful and exciting. You will love the experience of casting with this rod. It will feel as if it's an extension of your body.
My rods, of course, are entirely handmade (except guides) and are made with the utmost care and painstaking attention to detail. I take a lot of time with these rods, to get them as close to the limit of perfection as humanly possible.
Nickel silver is used for all ferrules, caps, and rings.
High grade, hand-planed Tonkincane is used for all blanks.
Maple and padauk are my normal materials for reel seat bases.
